Kenny & Cameo

Kenny & Cameo

Hello! I’m Kenny, and this is my wonderful wife, Cameo. We’re lucky to call a charming little ranch in western Arkansas our home, where we grow some of our own food and enjoy the company of our delightful dogs and cats. We love exploring the stunning Ouachita Mountains, with its beautiful creeks and refreshing swimming holes. Sharing our skills and knowledge with neighbors and friends brings us so much joy.

After an enriching 45-year career in Information Technology, I decided to shift my focus to sharing what I’ve learned with our community rather than just corporate clients. While technology has always been a passion, I’ve also pursued a variety of other interests. Inspired by my dad, a commercial helicopter pilot in the ’60s and ’70s, I developed a fascination with all things that soar! I even earned my Private Pilot’s license and became a licensed skydiver.

My dad also introduced me to a love of hunting, fishing, camping, auto mechanics, carpentry, and mechanical repair. More importantly, he taught me that “Every great accomplishment starts with a willingness to try!” This valuable lesson shapes my approach to life. I believe in gathering information and planning carefully, while also embracing Dad’s wisdom—sometimes you just have to jump in and give it your all!

Like many, I’ve faced challenges along the way. My journey with obesity has taught me valuable lessons about exercise, diet, and lifestyle changes, and I’m excited to share my experiences. The silver lining? At 66, I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been!

Cooking for family and friends is a true passion of mine, and I’ve even started a Dutch Oven cooking group to combine my love for the outdoors with delicious meals. I can’t wait to share tasty recipes and helpful tips for selecting the right cooking tools right here on this blog!

To stay sharp in the tech world, I run a small home lab where I can experiment freely. I love sharing my expertise with my community and keep up with the latest in Information Technology and Cyber Security through daily reading and research.
